The image no longer represents the world. It organises it.

In the system today, the image is no longer a result.

It is a piece of infrastructure.

The city is not the backdrop to urban life: it is a machine for visual production. Photography does not capture the real: it passes through it and recomposes it. Communication does not describe: it filters, selects and recalculates.

The visible is no longer something that is observed.

It is something that one lives in.

2. The city is the first cultural institution

Caribo Magazine recognises the city as a form primary of the visual contemporary regime.

Every surface in the urban environment is an interface. Every flow is composition. Every body is part of a visual grammar that is not explicit.

The city does not contain images.

It generates it continuously.

In this space, photography no longer documents the urban world.

It becomes the language within.

3. Fashion is a grammar of the visible

Fashion is not interpreted as an autonomous aesthetic industry.

It is interpreted as a system for encoding the real world.

Street style does not represent individuals, but relationships. Clothing does not define static identities, but positions dynamic within a field cultural complex.

Fashion does not produce images of people.

It produces ways of interpreting the world.

4. The book is not an object. It is a spacious diffuse space

Caribo Magazine recognises the transformation radical of contemporary publishing.

The book is no longer confined to the traditional published form. At festivals, at fairs, in cultural urban venues, reading becomes an experience, a relationship, a presence.

Culture does not concentrate itself.

It spreads.

The city becomes text.

The text becomes environment.

5. Artificial intelligence is the infrastructure of the visible world

Artificial intelligence is not regarded as a tool that is neutral.

It is a level structural of the visual contemporary regime.

It does not produce only content.

Reorganise the conditions of perception.
In the contemporary system, the visible is no longer merely created.

It is constantly reworked, filtered, synthesised.

AI does not replace the human gaze.

It redistributes.

6. There are no longer separate languages

Fashion, publishing, photography, cities and technology are no longer separate fields of activity.

They are components of the same perceptual field.

A system unique in which:

the city produces images,

Fashion organises the body as a signal,

the book becomes a relational space,

photography constructs maps of reality,

Artificial intelligence continuously recalibrates what is visible.

This is not a case of contamination.

This is a case of structural convergence.

7. The role of Caribo Magazine

Caribo Magazine fits is situated within this system not as an observer from the outside, but as a critical internal device.

Its role is not to simplify complexity.

It is to keep it legible without diminishing it.

Do not describe the world as a collection of separate events.

But as the field alone of cultural transformation.

8. Editorial position

Caribo Magazine states:

the fragmentation of languages

the separation between high culture and popular culture culture

the reduction of the image for immediate consumption

the simplification of contemporary art

Caribo Magazine assume:

complexity as a condition that is permanent

the city as a visual laboratory

culture as a hybrid ecosystem

the present as a system undergoing continuous transformation

Caribo Magazine operates in accordance with the principles of professional ethics in the field of communication professional, adopting a clear distinction between editorial content and external dynamics of a promotional nature, reputational or evaluative.

Publishing activities are distinguished in a strict manner from any content that is commissioned or sponsored, which, where present, are always identified as such and do not fall within the scope of the editorial independent analysis.

9. Method of writing and accessibility of thought

Caribo Magazine does not separate complexity from readability.

His role is not to simplify the ideas, but to make them accessible without diminishing them.

Every piece of content operates on two simultaneous levels:

un livello di interpretazione teorica del reale

a level of experience that is tangible and clear

Le idee non vengono presentate come astrazioni, ma come processi osservabili.

10. OPERATIONAL RULE

Every article in Caribo Magazine must comply with this principle:

to start from the concrete and move up to the concept to return to the concrete

Conclusion

We are no longer in front of the images.

We are no longer inside the images.

We are within a system that continuously produces the conditions of the visible.

Caribo Magazine was founded to live within this system without simplifying it.

To observe it without reducing it.

To pass through it without being swallowed up by it.

Why the role of culture, today, is not to add images to the world.

It is understanding how the world becomes an image.

This manifesto is not an abstract theory, but the way in which Caribo reads and selects its own content.

• Visual contemporary approach → “Scenarios of the present”
• AI as infrastructure → “Technology and perception”
• Cities/cultural levels → “Culture and urban space”

The visual contemporary regime Caribo Magazine was founded in the midst of an era that can no longer be a6> be described using the categories of traditional imagery, of culture and of communication.
